৮৷ উক্ত Act এর section 156 এর sub-section (1) এর TABLE এর -(ক) item 10A এর বিপরীতে কলাম (২) এ উল্লিখিত 'five times' শব্দগুলির পরিবর্তে "two times" শব্দগুলি প্রতিস্থাপিত হইবে;(খ) item 14 এর বিপরীতে কলাম (২) এ উল্লিখিত এন্ট্রির পরিবর্তে নিম্নরূপ এন্ট্রি প্রতিস্থাপিত হইবে, যথা :- "such person shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding three times the value of the goods in respect of which such offence is committed and such goods shall also be liable to confiscation; and upon conviction by a Magistrate such person shall further be liable to rigorous imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to a fine not exceeding taka fifty thousand or to both";(গ) item 15 এর বিপরীতে কলাম (2) এ উল্লিখিত 'or fifty thousand taka, whichever be higher;' শব্দগুলি, কমা ও সেমিকোলন বিলুপ্ত হইবে;(ঘ) item 47A এর বিপরীতে কলাম (2) এ three lakh taka শব্দগুলি দুইবার উল্লিখিত এর পরিবর্তে, উভয়স্থানে,, "five lakh taka" শব্দগুলি প্রতিস্থাপিত হইবে;(ঙ) item 60 এর বিপরীতে কলাম (2) এর এন্ট্রির পরিবর্তে নিম্নরূপ এন্ট্রি প্রতিস্থাপিত হইবে, যথা :-"such excess, unless accounted for to the satisfaction of the officer-in-charge, shall be charged with not exceeding three times the duty leviable thereon."
