The Maintenance Orders Enforcement Act, 1921

1♣An Act to facilitate the enforcement in Bangladesh of Maintenance Orders made in other Countries and vice versa.

 
WHEREAS it is expedient to facilitate the enforcement in Bangladesh of Maintenance Orders made in Other Countries and vice versa;
 
 
It is hereby enacted as follows:-
 

Short title and extent
1.(1) This Act may be called the Maintenance Orders Enforcement Act, 1921.
 
 
(2) It extends to the whole of Bangladesh.

    Throughout this Act, except otherwise provided, the words "Bangladesh", "Government" and "the High Court Division" were substituted, for the words "Pakistan", "Central Government" and "a High Court" or "the High Court" respectively by section 3 and 2nd Schedule of the Bangladesh Laws (Revision And Declaration) Act, 1973 (Act No. VIII of 1973)
