The Boilers Act, 1923

( ACT NO. V OF 1923 )

Penalty for tampering with register mark
25.(1) Whoever removes, alters, defaces, renders invisible or otherwise tampers with the register number marked on a boiler in accordance with the provisions of this Act or any Act repealed hereby, shall be punishable with fine which may extend to 1[ten thousand taka].
 
 
(2) Whoever fraudulently marks upon a boiler a register number which has not been allotted to it under this Act or any Act repealed hereby, shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to two years or with fine, or with both.
