CANTONMENT BOARDS

Presiding officer
40. In the absence of-
 
 
(a) both the President and the Vice-President from any meeting of a Board 2[* * *],
 
 
(b) the President from a meeting of a Board constituted under sub-section (3) of section 13A or sub-section (1) of section 14,
 
 
the members present shall elect one from among their own number to preside.

    Throughout this Act, except otherwise provided, the words "Bangladesh", Government", "Penal Code" and "Taka" were substituted, for the words "Pakistan", "Central Government", "Pakistan Penal Code" and "rupee" or "rupees" respectively by the Bangladesh Laws (Revision And Declaration) Act, 1973 (Act No. VIII of 1973), section 3 and 2nd Schedule
