Remission and Refund

Notice to be given of the circumstances in which remission or refund is claimed
2[77A.] No remission or refund under section 76, or section 77 shall be made unless notice in writing of the fact that the building, land or tenement has become vacant and unproductive of rent has been given to the Board, and no remission or refund shall take effect in respect of any period commencing more than fifteen days before the delivery of such notice.

    Throughout this Act, except otherwise provided, the words "Bangladesh", Government", "Penal Code" and "Taka" were substituted, for the words "Pakistan", "Central Government", "Pakistan Penal Code" and "rupee" or "rupees" respectively by the Bangladesh Laws (Revision And Declaration) Act, 1973 (Act No. VIII of 1973), section 3 and 2nd Schedule
