WATER-SUPPLY, DRAINAGE AND LIGHTING

Water-supply

Penalty
226. Whoever-
 
 
(a) uses for other than domestic purposes any water supplied by a Board for domestic use, or
 
 
(b) where water is supplied by agreement with a Board for a specified purpose, uses that water for any other purpose,
 
 
shall be punishable with fine which may extend to fifty Taka, and the Board shall be entitled to recover from him the price of the water misused.

    Throughout this Act, except otherwise provided, the words "Bangladesh", Government", "Penal Code" and "Taka" were substituted, for the words "Pakistan", "Central Government", "Pakistan Penal Code" and "rupee" or "rupees" respectively by the Bangladesh Laws (Revision And Declaration) Act, 1973 (Act No. VIII of 1973), section 3 and 2nd Schedule
