The Soldiers (Litigation) Act, 1925

Definition
2. In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,-
 
 
(a) "Court" means a Civil or Revenue Court;

(b) "soldier" means any person subject to the 2[Army Act, 1952, or the] Air Force Act, 1953;
 
 
(c) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act; and
 
 
(d) "proceeding" includes any suit, appeal or application.
