Power to apply the provisions of the Act to other person in the service of the Republic
14.(1) 1[The] Government may, by notification in the official Gazette, direct that all or any of the provisions of this Act, shall apply to any other class of persons in the service of the 2[Republic] specified in such notification in the same manner as they apply to soldiers.
The word "The" was substituted, for the words and commas "As respects the Provincial Public Services the Provincial Government, and in other cases, the" by section 3 and 2nd Schedule of the Bangladesh Laws (Revision And Declaration) Act, 1973 (Act No. VIII of 1973)
