Application of Bengal Act IV of 1942 to the Chittagong Hill- tracts

2. The 1[***] Criminal Law (Industrial Areas) Amendment Act, 1942, shall subject to the following modifications, apply to the Chittagong Hill-tracts:-

Sub-section (2) of section 1 and section 2 shall be omitted.

    The word "Bengal" was omitted by Article 6 of the Bangladesh (Adaptation of Existing Laws) Order, 1972 (Presidents Order No. 48 of 1972).
