WHEREAS it is expedient to apply to the Chittagong Hill-tracts the Motor Vehicles Act, 1939, and the Bengal Motor Vehicles Tax Act, 1932;

AND WHEREAS by clause (3) of Article 103 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the ¹[Government] is empowered to make regulations for the peace and good Government of the excluded area in his Province;

NOW, Therefore, the ²[Government] in exercise of the said power and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, is pleased to make the following Regulation, namely:-
