The books of every provident society shall at all reasonable times be open to inspection by the Chief Controller of Insurance or any person appointed by him in this behalf or by any member or policy-holder of the society who has, on application in this behalf, been permitted by the Chief Controller of Insurance, subject to such conditions, if any, as he may impose, to make such inspection.
