Composition of offences
15. Any offence punishable under sub section (2) of section 8 may, either before or after the institution of the prosecution, be compounded by the Government or by any authority on whom powers are conferred in this behalf by the Government, on payment for credit to the Fund of such sum as the Government or such authority, as the case may be, thinks fit.
