If the Government is satisfied, after such enquiry as it may think proper, that it is no more necessary for the public interest to retain any embankment mentioned in Schedule A or any embankment or water-course included therein under the next succeeding section, it may, by notification in the official Gazette, exclude the same from the said Schedule: Provided that the Government may, if it is subsequently considered necessary, restore the same to the aforesaid Schedule.
