If this Act or any provision thereof be extended by notification under sub-section (2) of section 1 to any area outside the City or Municipality, the street laid out or altered, and open spaces provided by the Kartripakkha in such area shall, until such time as the City or Municipality is extended to such area ¹[* * *], continue to vest in the Kartripakkha, and shall thereafter vest in and be taken over by the Corporation or Paurashava in accordance with the provisions of sections 65 and 66.
