47. (1) If, in any area in which this Ordinance is in force, any provision of this Ordinance is inconsistent with any provision of any other Act which is in operation in such area, the provisions of the other Act in their application to such area shall to the extent of the inconsistency be void and the provisions of this Ordinance shall prevail. (2) If any difficulty arises owing to the conflict of any provision of this Ordinance with any provision of any other Act, the Government may by order do anything or authorise any matter or thing to be done which may be necessary to remove such difficulty or to give effect to the provisions of this Ordinance.
