Condonation of delay in holding election of a trade organisation
1[8A. Notwithstanding anything contained in the Act or in any other law for the time being in force or in the articles of memorandum, if a trade organisation fails to hold the election in time, the Director, either on his own motion or on receipt of an application from the trade organisation, may, for reasons to be recorded in writing, condone the delay and direct the trade organisation to hold the election within such time as he may determine.]
