(1) After publication of the Master Plan under sub section (3) of section 22, the Authority shall prepare, and submit to the Government Five Year Programmes of development and improvement of the areas covered by the Master Plan, on the basis of the said Plan, listing the schemes of development and improvement, including works of water supply and sewerage in their approximate order of execution and with approximate cost of each. (2) The Government shall, within six months of its submission, either approve or disapprove the Programme referred to in sub section (1), or approve it with such additions or modifications as, in consultation with the Authority, it deems fit to make.
