2. In this Ordinance, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,-(a) “Board” means the Board of Directors of the Corporation;(b) “Chairman” means the Chairman of the Corporation; ¹[(c) “Corporation” means the Bangladesh Industrial Development Corporation;] (d) “Director” means the Director of the Corporation; ²[(e) “Government” means the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh;] (f) “Minerals” means all minerals excluding minerals necessary for the generation of nuclear energy and mineral oil and natural gas; (g) “prescribed” means prescribed by rules or regulations; (h) “regulations” means regulations made under this Ordinance; (i) “rules” means rules made under this Ordinance.
