♣An act to amend the law relating to Treasure-trove
Preamble
WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the law relating to treasure-trove; It is hereby enacted as follows:-
PRELIMINARY
Short title
1. This may be called the
Treasure-Trove Act, 1878
.

Throughout this Act, except otherwise provided, the word "Government" was substituted, for the words "Provincial Government" by section 3 and 2nd Schedule of the
Bangladesh Laws (Revision And Declaration) Act, 1973
