The Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation Order, 1972 (President's Order)

7. (1) The Chairman and the other Directors shall be appointed by the Government for such period and on such terms and conditions as the Government may determine.
 
 
 
 
(2) The Chairman shall be a whole-time officer and the chief executive officer of the Corporation.
 
 
 
 
(3) The Government shall appoint 1[three of the other Directors to be whole-time officers] of the Corporation.
 
 
 
 
(4) The Chairman and the other whole-time 2[Directors] shall divest themselves of any directorship held by them in any other Corporation or in any company otherwise than on behalf of the Corporation.
