Chapter II

ELECTION COMMISSION

4. The Commission may authorise 1[the Chief Election Commissioner or any of the Election Commissioners] or any of its officers to exercise and perform all or any of its powers and functions under this Order.

    The words “the Chief Election Commissioner or any of the Election Commissioners” were substituted for the words “its chairman or any of its members” by section 4 of the Representation of the People (Amendment) Act, 2013 (Act No. LI of 2013).
