8. [(1) The Commission shall maintain a list of polling stations for the purpose of election of a member for every constituency.]
(2) [The Commission may make such alterations in the list of polling stations as it may consider necessary and shall, at least twenty five days] before the polling day, publish in the official Gazette, the final list of polling stations specifying the area the electors whereof will be entitled to vote at each polling station.
(3) The Returning Officer shall provide each constituency with polling stations according to the final list published under clause (2).
(4) No polling station shall be located in any such premises as belong to, or are under the control of, any candidate.
[(5) At any time after the finalization of candidature, if it is found that any polling station published in the Official Gazette under clause (2), belongs to, or is under the control of any candidate, the Commission may alter such polling station.]
