2. In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,-
(a) “auxiliary forces” 1[includes forces whether armed or unarmed] placed under the control of the Armed Forces for operational, administrative, static and other purposes;
2[(aa) “disciplined force” means—
(i) the army, navy and air force;
(ii) the police, Rapid Action Battalion, Border Guard Bangladesh, Coast Guard and Ansar;
(iii) any other force declared by law to be a disciplined force within the meaning of this definition;]
(b) “Government” means the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh;
3[(bb) “intelligence agency” means any authority, force or entity, established by or under any law which is responsible for the collection, analysis and exploitation of information in support of law enforcement, national security and public safety;]
(c) “Republic” means the People's Republic of Bangladesh;

(e) “territory of Bangladesh” means the territory of the Republic as defined in article 2 of the Constitution of the People's Republic of Bangladesh;
(f) “Tribunal” means a Tribunal set up under this Act.
