Penalty for disseminating unauthorised news-sheets and newspaper
33. (1) Whoever makes, prints or otherwise produces, distributes, publishes or publicity exhibits or keeps for sale, distribution or publication, any unauthorised news-sheet or unauthorised newspaper, shall be punishable with fine not exceeding Taka 1[twenty thousand].
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898 (V of 1898), any offence punishable under sub-section (1), and any abatement of any such offence, shall be cognizable.
