An Act to repeal the Rajshahi University Ordinance, 1961 and provide for reconstitution and reorganisation of the University of Rajshahi.
WHEREAS it is expedient to reconstitute and reorganise the University of Rajshahi for the purpose of improving the teaching and research provided thereby and the administration thereof;
It is hereby enacted as follows:-
Short title, and commencement
1. (1) This Act may be called the
Rajshahi University Act, 1973.
(2) It shall come into force at once and shall be deemed to have taken effect on the 16th day of December, 1972.
