The Chittagong University Act, 1973

An Act to repeal the Chittagong University Ordinance, 1966, and provide for reconstitution and reorganisation of the University of Chittagong.

 
 
 
WHEREAS it is expedient to reconstitute and reorganise the University of Chittagong for the purpose of improving the teaching and research provided thereby and the administration thereof;
 
 
 
 
It is hereby enacted as follows:-
 
 
 

Short title and commencement
1. (1) This Act may be called the Chittagong University Act, 1973.
 
 
 
 
(2) It shall come into force at once and shall be deemed to have taken effect on the 16th day of December, 1972.
