29. (1) There shall be two kinds of Committees of Courses –One for courses to be offered by the Departments of the University and the other for courses to be offered by Colleges. (2) The first kind of Committee shall consist of all the teachers of the Department concerned and the second kind of Committee shall consist of such number of teachers of the Department and the Colleges as may be nominated by the Vice-Chancellor: Provided that the majority of the members of the second kind of Committee shall be the teachers of the Colleges. (3) A Committee of courses shall be responsible for preparation of courses and syllabuses and such other work as may be assigned to it by the Statutes and the University Ordinances.
