20. The Managing Board may receive and hold gifts of whatsoever description either for the general purposes of the Society or for any particular purpose and on receipt of such gifts may, subject to any rule made under Article 23, apply the same to such purposes, either directly or through the Units or the societies or bodies affiliated under Article 19 or any agency established, by agreement, for any such purpose.
