Appeals and confirmation of death sentences
1[ 2[30. (1) An appeal from any order, judgment or sentence of a Special Tribunal may be preferred to the High Court Division within thirty days from the date of delivery or passing thereof.
 
 
 
 
(2) Where a Special Tribunal passes a sentence of death, the proceedings shall be submitted forthwith to the High Court Division and the sentence shall not be executed unless it is confirmed by that Division.]
