OF TRANSFERS OF PROPERTY BY ACT OF PARTIES

(A) Transfer of Property, whether moveable or immoveable

Rule against perpetuity
14. No transfer of property can operate to create an interest which is to take effect after the life-time of one or more persons living at the date of such transfer, and the minority of some person who shall be in existence at the expiration of that period, and to whom, if he attains full age, the interest created is to belong.

    Throughout this Act, except otherwise provided, the words “Bangladesh”, “Government” and “Tk.” were substituted, for the words “Pakistan”, “Central Government” or “Provincial Government” and “Rs.” respectively by section 3 and 2nd Schedule of the Bangladesh Laws (Revision And Declaration) Act, 1973 (Act No. VIII of 1973).
