22. ¹[(1)] The Corporation may ²[, subject to the provisions of sub-section (2),] appoint such officers, advisers, consultants, agents and servants as it considers necessary for the efficient performance of its functions on such terms and conditions as it may determine. ³[(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the Government may appoint a General Manager of the Corporation on such terms and conditions as it may determine.] ⁴[(3) For the purpose of efficient running of the business of any subsidiary, the Corporation may, on the request of such subsidiary, depute any officer or employee of the Corporation to serve in the subsidiary on such terms and conditions as the Corporation and that subsidiary may mutually agree.]
