PENALTY AND PROCEDURE

Penalty for contravention of section 57A
2[68A. Any person who contravenes the provisions of section 57A shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 3[one year, or with fine which may extend to Taka twenty five thousand], or with both, and the court trying such offence may order confiscation of any material used in the obstruction to navigation to the Government.]
