The Bangladesh Rifles (Special Provisions) Ordinance, 1976

Definitions
2. In this Ordinance, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,-
 
 
 
 
(a) “authority” means an authority specified in column 2 of the Schedules;
 
 
(b) “member” means 1[a departmentally promoted Deputy Director, Assistant Director, Deputy Assistant Director, or a subordinate officer, Rifleman and Signalman] of the Bangladesh Rifles and includes any civilian employee serving in connection with the Bangladesh Rifles mentioned in column 1 of the Schedules; and
 
 
(c) “misconduct” means conduct prejudicial to good order or service discipline or contrary to the Government Servants (Conduct) Rules, 2[1979], or unbecoming an officer or gentleman.
