Chapter I

CONSTITUTION AND COMPOSITION OF PAURASHAVAS

Casual vacancy
15. (1) Where the office of a commissioner becomes vacant not later than one hundred and eighty days before the term of the Paurashava is due to expire, an election 1[* * *] to fill the office shall be held 2[* * *] within sixty days of the occurrence of the vacancy, and the person who is elected in such election 3[* * *] shall hold office for the residue of such term.
 
 
 
 
(2) Where the office of Chairman becomes vacant before the term of the Paurashava is due to expire, an election to fill the office shall be held within one month of the occurrence of such vacancy, and the person who is elected in such election shall hold office for the residue of such term.
