Constitution and composition of the Council
9. (1) There shall be a Council of the Institute for the management of the affairs of the Institute and for discharging the functions assigned to it under this Ordinance.
 
 
(2) The Council shall be composed of the following persons, namely:-
 
 
 
 
(a) 1[twelve] persons to be elected by the members of the Institute from amongst the fellows; and
 
 
 
 
(b) four persons to be nominated by the Government.
 
 
 
 
2[(3) An officer or employee of the Institute shall not be eligible for election or nomination as a member of the Council.]
