Chapter III

ORDINARY JURISDICTION

1[Appeal from District and Additional District Judges]
20. (1) Save as otherwise provided by any enactment for the time being in force, an appeal from a decree or order of a District Judge or 2[Additional District] Judge shall lie to the High Court Division.
 
 
(2) An appeal shall not lie to the High Court Division from a decree or order of an 3[Additional District] Judge in any case in which, if the decree or order had been made by the District Judge, an appeal would not lie to that Court.
