(1) When any property is proposed to be acquired for any person other than the Government, such person shall enter into an agreement with the Government in such form as may be prescribed before a notice under section 3 is published. (2) When the property in respect of which an agreement has been entered into with a person under sub-section (1) is acquired under section 11, the Government shall, on the performance by such person of his part of the agreement, transfer the property to the person by executing a deed in such form as may be prescribed and in accordance with the law for the time being in force.
