Proceedings in inquiries
22. For the purpose of any enquiry under this Ordinance, the Council shall be deemed to be a Court within the meaning of Evidence Act, 1872 and shall exercise all the powers of a Commissioner appointed under the Public Servant's (Inquiries) Act, 1850 (XXXVII of 1850).
