Where any ship has either wholly or as to any share therein become subject to forfeiture under this Ordinance, any commissioned officer of the Bangladesh Navy, any Principal Officer, any Collector of Customs, or any Bangladesh Consular Officer, or any other officer authorised by the Government, by notification in the official Gazette, may seize and detain the ship, and bring her in for adjudication before the High Court Division, and the High Court Division may thereupon adjudge the ship with her equipment to be forfeited to Government and make such order in the case as to the High Court Division seems just.
