101. (1) If any young person is engaged to work in any capacity in a ship in contravention of section 98, section 99, or section 100 on a false representation by his parent or guardian, or any other person, that the young person is of an age at which such engagement is not in contravention of any of those sections, such parent or guardian shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine which may extend to Taka two thousand, or with both. (2) If any young person is carried to sea to work in contravention of section 98, section 99, or section 100, the master of the ship shall, for each offence, be punishable with fine which may extend to two thousand Taka. (3) If any master refuses or neglects to produce for inspection any certificate of fitness delivered to him when required so to do under sub section (4) of section 100, he shall, for each offence, be punishable with fine which may extend to five thousand Taka.
