121. (1) The master shall, at the commencement of every voyage or engagement, cause a legible copy of the agreement with the crew and, if necessary, a translation thereof in a language understood by the majority of the crew (omitting the signatures), to be placed or posted up in such part of the ship as is accessible to the crew. (2) Any master who fails without reasonable cause to comply with the provisions of sub section (1) shall, for each offence, be punishable with fine which may extend to five thousand Taka.
