435. (1) A master, mate or engineer whose certificate has been cancelled or suspended by the Government, or has been suspended by a Marine Board, shall deliver his certificate- (a) if suspended by a Marine Board, to that Board on demand; (b) if not so demanded or if it is cancelled or suspended by the Government, to the Government or to such officer as the Government may direct. (2) if a master, mate or engineer fails to comply with this section, he shall, for each offence, be punishable with fine which may extend to two thousand Taka.
