(1) Any citizen of Bangladesh aggrieved by an order of refusal by the Director to grant a licence or any person aggrieved by an order of cancellation or suspension of his licence may, within thirty days from the date of receipt of the order of refusal, cancellation or suspension, prefer an appeal against such refusal, cancellation or suspension. (2) Any person filing an appeal shall be entitled to appoint a representative or legal practitioner of his choice for the purpose of making an appeal. (3) Where the decision appealed against has been made by the Director, the appeal shall lie to the Government; and where the decision appealed against has been made by a fisheries officer appointed under section 4, the appeal shall lie to the Director.
