27. Any person who uses or has in his possession or has on board any vessel within the Bangladesh fisheries waters any fishing net which has a mesh size specified for that type of net or any other nets or fishing gear or fishing appliances that have been prohibited under any rules made under this Ordinance shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable to a fine not exceeding Taka one lakh.
