Publication of results of election of Chairman, etc.
25. The names of all persons elected as Chairman and 1[members 2[* * *]] of a Union Parishad shall as soon as may be after such election, be published in the official Gazette, by the Election Commission.

    The words and commas “members, other than members of reserved seats,” were substituted for the words “elected members” by section 17 of the Local Government (Union Parishads) (Amendment) Act, 1993 (Act No. XX of 1993)

    The commas and the words “, other than members of reserved seats,” were omitted by section 10 of the Local Government (Union Parishads) (Second Amendment) Act, 1997 (Act No. XX of 1997)
