(1) The authority specified in Part A of the Fourth Schedule may grant driving licences valid throughout Bangladesh, to persons who have completed their eighteen years of age, to drive motor vehicles which are the property of the Defence Services or, for the time being under the exclusive control of the Defence Services and are used solely for the purposes of the Defence Services unconnected with any commercial enterprises. (2) A driving licence issued under this section shall specify the class or classes of motor vehicle which the holder is entitled to drive and the period for which he is so entitled. (3) A driving licence issued under this section shall not entitle the holder to drive any motor vehicle except a motor vehicle which is the property or for the time being under the exclusive control of the Defence Services. (4) The authority issuing any driving licence under this section shall furnish such information respecting any person to whom a driving licence is issued as the Government may at any time require.
