Chapter X

OFFENCES, PENALTIES AND PROCEDURE

General provision for punishment of offence
137. Whoever contravenes any provision of this Ordinance or of any 1[rules or regulations] made thereunder shall, if no other penalty is provided for the offence, be punishable with fine which may extend to 2[two hundred] Taka, or, if having been previously convicted of any offence under this Ordinance he is again convicted of an offence under this Ordinance, with fine which may extend to 3[four hundred] Taka.
