5. The Board shall consist of the following members, namely:- (a) Minister, Fisheries and Livestock Division, who shall also be the Chairman of the Board; (b) Secretary, Fisheries and Livestock Division, who shall also be the Vice-Chairman of the Board, ex-officio; (c) Secretary, Finance Division, ex-officio; (d) Executive Vice-Chairman, Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council, ex-officio; (e) Vice-Chancellor, Bangladesh Agricultural University, ex-officio; (f) Member (Agriculture), Planning Commission, ex-officio; (g) Director of Livestock Services, ex-officio; (h) two persons to be appointed by the Government from among persons engaged in research activities in the Institute; (i) two persons to be appointed by the Government from among persons having interest in livestock matters; and (j) Director-General of the Institute, who shall also be the member secretary of the Board.
