OFFENCES AND PROSECUTION

Power to compound offences
170. 1[The Board may], either before or after the institution of any proceedings or prosecution for an offence punishable under this Chapter, compound such offence.

    The words “The Board may” were substituted for the words “The Commissioner may” by section 36 of the Finance Act,2009(Act No.X of 2009)(with effect from 1st July 2008).
