2. In this Ordinance, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,-(a) “Board” means the Board of Directors of the Corporation;(b) “Corporation” means the Bangladesh Oil, Gas and Mineral Corporation established under section 3;(c) “Chairman” means the Chairman of the Corporation;(d) “Director” means a Director of the Corporation;(e) “mineral” means all minerals, whether in a solid, liquid or gaseous state and rock resources, metal or non-metal, including coal, lime-stone, clay, sand, metalliferous ore and non-metallic mineral and any other naturally occurring substance which may be used either in its original form or after processing for economic purposes;(f) “prescribed” means prescribed by rules or regulations made under this Ordinance.
